Endothermic coating glass
Aluminum doors and windows in the room facing the sun or on the west side should adopt the endothermic coating glass. In this kind of rooms, endothermic coating glass can be chosen on the outside of the bedrooms, while ordinary white glass can be used on the inside rooms.
Because the heat-absorbing glass absorbs the infrared ray and reduce 20%-30% of the solar energy incidence so that it can reduce the heat energy entering the room, which can reduce the air conditioning load in summer, and raise the temperature by absorbing infrared ray in winter. Accordingly, it can resist the cold and save the energy. Because the heat-absorbing glass is the color glass, so besides saving energy, it has obvious decorative effect.
Insulating glass
Insulating glass is more energy-efficient. Due to the thermal conductivity of sealed intermediate air layer is lower than glass, therefore, compared with a single piece of glass, the heat-shielding performance of insulating glass can be improved twice, which can greatly reduce the power consumption of air-conditioned building. Insulating glass can insulate more than 70% in summer, and keep the indoor heat from losing and reduce 40% of heat loss in winter, creating insulation and warmth.
Tempered glass
Tempered glass belongs to safety glass. It is actually a kind of prestressed glass. To enhance the strength of the glass, the method of chemistry or physics is usually used to form press stress on the glass surface. When glass bears external force, it’ll offset skin stress so as to improve the bearing capacity, and strengthen the glass’s wind resistance pressure, impact etc. The tempered glass is widely used in the aluminum alloy doors and windows of high-rise buildings, glass curtain wall, indoor partition glass, lighting ceiling, sightseeing elevator channel, furniture, glass railing, etc.
If both sides of the bedroom’s glass use tempered glass, then the wind resistance pressure and safety of glass are greatly improved. Because the resistance of tempered glass is 5-10 times that of ordinary glass, and its bending resistance is 3-5 times that of ordinary glass, and its safety performance is greatly improved.
Explosion-proof glass
A piece of ordinary white glass and tempered glass is unable to bear to the strength of 30 to 50 kg, but after laminated process, a layer of something is stuck on the surface. After the reinforcement, it is also called laminated glass, explosion-proof glass.
Ordinary glass originally can withstand 50 kilograms. Explosion-proof glass is what can take 300 kilograms after adding laminated glass.
Strengthened glass
Strengthened glass refers to a piece of tempered glass and an ordinary glass attached a decorative film. Strengthened glass is plus a layer of film that makes it less vulnerable to damage based on existing tempered glass.
Ordinary people have misunderstanding to strengthened glass, which is the kind of glass that won’t hurt people after falling down, instead of explosion-proof glass.
